Nov. 18, 2016: Take Back the Night March

On Nov. 18, Generation Action at UAA will host a Take Back the Night march that will start at the commons and end at Rasmuson Hall with a resource fair and a panel discussion with members from the community. This event is to raise awareness about the Red Zone and college sexual assault. The Red Zone is the time period when 50 percent of sexual assaults on college campuses happen, it lasts from August, September, October November and it's peak times are just before the beginning of the Fall semester and just before the Thanksgiving break. We are throwing this event before Thanksgiving for maximum impact.
