April 21, 2017: Discover the next great startup at the Alaska Business Plan Competition

Alaska Business Plan Competition Friday, April 21, 2-4 p.m. Bear Tooth Theatrepub (1230 W. 27th Ave.)

Discover the next great startup at the Alaska Business Plan Competition, and watch as entrepreneurs from across the state vie to attract investors, validate their business ideas and win prizes. Nine teams from across the state, hailing from Juneau, Anchorage, Unalaska, Fairbanks and more, will pitch their startups to a panel of judges and attendees for a chance to be named creator of 2017's Best Business Plan. Doors open at 1:30 p.m., and the event will begin promptly at 2 p.m.

This event is hosted by the UAA Business Enterprise Institute on behalf of UAA, UAF, UAS and APU. Additional support comes from Northrim Bank, First National Bank, Wells Fargo Foundation, Team Network Inc., Alaska First Community Bank and Trust, Anchorage Economic Development Corporation, UAA College of Business and Public Policy, APU Hickel Leadership and Entrepreneurship Fund, and the Anchorage International Rotary Club.
