Title IX Prevention Training Deadline - Oct. 31, 2017

Dear UAA Students,

We all bear responsibility to ensure UAA campuses are safe, welcoming and inclusive for our students, employees and the communities we serve. We can make a difference if we do our part to take care of each other. I want to remind our UAA campus community that if you see something, say something, and do something about it.

Title IX: Sex and Gender Based Discrimination Prevention training is one of a number of preventive strategies UAA employs to raise awareness about sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking and domestic and intimate partner violence. Training helps change attitudes and behaviors, and UAA requires annual completion of Title IX training as part of the enrollment process.

This training educates students about healthy relationships, alcohol education and empowers students to take action to protect their peers from sexual assault, sexual harassment, stalking and domestic and intimate partner violence. You must complete the training by Oct. 31, 2017. Not completing the training by this date may result in a registration hold.
