Independence Day 2018

Dear UAA Faculty and Staff,
The University of Alaska Anchorage will not conduct classes on Friday, July 6, but all administrative and support offices will be open and campuses operational that day. Employees who wish to extend their Independence Day holiday (July 4-5) through to the weekend must take annual leave, leave without pay, faculty time off or a furlough day. Given the 2019 fiscal year will have just begun, personal holiday hours will not be available by July 6.
If you have questions about taking time off, please consult your payroll and personnel assistant, or call UAA Human Resources at (907) 786-4608.
