Interim Chancellor Sam Gingerich and the Chancellor's Cabinet support this special day and wish to say thank you for all you do in making UAA a great university. Departments should follow historical practices for attending this event. Everyone is welcome, including all of leadership, supervisors/managers, faculty, student workers and all those off campus! Schedule of events:

Lunch, Noon Cuddy Quad Waffles and What Not, Main Event Catering and Yeti Dogs food trucks will be on campus from noon to 2 p.m. Kona Ice will be present from 1:30 to 5 p.m. for dessert.

Wellness Activities, 1:15-3:05 p.m. Round 1, 1:15-1:35 p.m. / Round 2, 1:45-2:05 p.m. / Round 3, 2:15-2:35 p.m. / Round 4, 2:45 p.m.-3:05 p.m. Cuddy Quad (activities will move indoors to Lucy Cuddy Hall if it's raining)

Yoga, Balance, Strength Exercises, and Art Therapy will be happening concurrently for four rounds. Feel free to pop in, rotate and attend all four. Wellness activities will be led by yoga instructor Margo Sorum, HPER students Yvonne Jeschke and Junland Navarro, and UAA Employee Wellness' very own Jean Marcey and Kyra McKay. (Note: There will be a limited amount of mats provided at yoga, but you are welcome to bring your own in case there aren't enough for everyone.)

Walk/Run, 3:15 p.m. There will be two groups: one for walking and one for running. Both groups will meet in Cuddy Quad between ESH and AHS at 3:15 p.m. Walking group will be led by Jean Marcey and TJ Miller. Running group will be led by Chrissy Wilson. Walk and run will take place outside regardless of weather-please dress appropriately.

First 500 employees will receive a $3 coupon to use towards the purchase of lunch and another coupon for a flavored shaved ice cone.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, and bring money for lunch. Wear your UAA logo T-shirts, hoodies, hat, etc. to show your pride. Parking is free for everyone on Friday, and we will have also have free bottled water.
