Faculty and staff: Tell Advancement what you think about UAA’s communications

by Michelle Saport  |

The Office of University Advancement is conducting an internal communications review to evaluate the effectiveness of how the university communicates with faculty, staff, students and alumni. It's important that we're providing you with factual, relevant and timely information. We're always looking at ways to improve our communication, and your opinion is a big part of that.

Faculty and staff are invited to join us for one-hour focus group sessions on the following days:

FACULTY: Wednesday, April 10, 4-5 p.m., ADM 204 (Chancellor's Conference Room)

STAFF: Thursday, April 11, 4-5 p.m., ADM 204 (Chancellor's Conference Room)

Please RSVP to Jessica Hamlin at jdhamlin@alaska.edu or 786-1288 to confirm your participation.

Your participation in this focus group is completely voluntary. If you decide to participate, you may choose not to answer any questions you don't wish to, and you may withdraw at any time. The focus group will be conducted by Diane Hirshberg from the Institute of Social and Economic Research along with Thompson & Co. Public Relations. Your responses will be confidential; we will not include any identifying information such as your name or department in any write-ups. The results of the focus group will be shared only in aggregate form. No university administrators will be in the room, and the team will not share any individually identifiable comments and responses.

There are no financial benefits to participation, nor risks to you as an employee of the university. However, your participation will be of value in helping Advancement better meet the needs of UAA and all the members of our community.
