UA Blackboard Learn SaaS migration notification — scheduled outage Dec. 19-24

UA Blackboard Learn is expected to be unavailable from Saturday, Dec. 19, until the evening of Thursday, Dec. 24, to allow for a migration to Blackboard SaaS (Software as a Service). The status of the migration can be followed at the OIT Services Status website. Information and materials will not be removed or deleted during this migration.
The look and feel of Blackboard will be largely unchanged; instructors will have access to an improved content editor in their course that provides new and enhanced features and serves as a replacement for the old text editor. By moving to Blackboard SaaS, the university will improve system reliability, eliminate future maintenance outages and receive feature improvements continuously throughout the year.
