UAA's Assistant Director of Student Conduct & Ethical Development is a leader in the Dean of Students Office. This position reports to the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Student Conduct & Ethical Development. The candidate assists to provide leadership, vision, and development for the overall direction of student conduct and ethical development for the University of Alaska Anchorage MAU. The candidate provides overall coordination of administrative processes and procedures for UAA’s student discipline process. Primary duties include serving as a student conduct administrator, overseeing the Maxient online student conduct database, serving as UAA’s expert on academic integrity, and supervising Dean of Students Office student staff members. This position oversees UAA’s Alcohol, Drug, and Wellness Education program, supervises the Alcohol, Drug, and Wellness Educator, and is responsible for compliance with the Drug Free Schools and Communities Act. The Assistant Director of Student Conduct & Ethical Development is a 40-hour per week, 12-month, regular position. Hiring contingent upon a successful background check.
