The UAA Surge Workforce has been working collaboratively with the State of Alaska over the course of the pandemic to provide contact tracing efforts in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We are currently hiring for Tier 1 and Tier 2 positions.

You can get your free COVID-19 vaccination at home!

Appointments currently available for the FDA-approved Pfizer or the one-and-done Johnson & Johnson vaccines on Tuesday, Sept. 7 for residents west of the Seward Highway and Thursday, Sept. 9 for residents east of the Seward Highway. Secure your account with multi-factor authentication

In early June, UAA IT Services began to roll out a security enhancement called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to better protect users and sensitive UAA information from malicious cyber-attacks. Over the past few months, we have seen a significant increase in the number of attempts to access and steal university information by stealing usernames and passwords and gaining access to employee accounts.

Safety Awareness Month: Suicide Prevention Week

This week, take action in raising awareness and learning more during National Suicide Prevention Week. This week is an opportunity to learn skills to recognize warning signs that someone may be at risk for suicide and what you can do to help someone who may be in crisis. Stop by one of the Health Promotion Team's tables around campus and participate in making a helper flag or attend a free suicide prevention training.
