PWSC's Alaska Tech Learners featured in STEM For All video showcase

Prince William Sound College’s “Alaska Tech Learners” (ATL) dual enrollment web engineering program will be highlighted at the 2022 STEM for All Video Showcase: Access, Inclusion and Equity. Now in its eighth year, the annual showcase features over 250 innovative projects aimed at improving Science, Technology, Math, Engineering and Computer Science education.
Dr. Steven Johnson, Principal Investigator, and faculty for ATL, will present the “Shared Teaching Model” that gives rural and remote high school students the ability to participate in a college-level IT program that prepares them to become technician-level IT workers for businesses and agencies in their home communities. ATL offers computing courses to 200 teachers, high school students and college students annually.
