948 Alaska high school students designated for $12,000 UA Scholars Award

Every year, schools in Alaska identify the top ten percent of their junior class for the UA Scholar Award, a designation which includes a $12,000 scholarship for use at any location within the University of Alaska system.

Anchorage Audubon is giving away free trees

Everyone thinks the Audubon Society is just about birds, which it is, but you can't have birds without the right habitat! To help replace the many spruce trees lost to the spruce bark beetle infestation, Anchorage Audubon will be giving away free spruce saplings beginning May 25 at distribution sites all around Anchorage.

Seawolf Dining is excited to announce that Kaladi Brothers in the Social Sciences Building (SSB) will be opening up for the summer on Monday, May 15. Summer hours are as follows, Monday - Thursday, 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
