I am currently looking for an apartment in Anchorage for me and my husband. I am a Ph.D. Fellow from the University of Tromsø, Norway, who will come to Anchorage as a guest researcher from early January until mid-May next year.

My field is Art History and I will be part of the Alaskan Native Studies department. My research involves historical representations of Alaskan Natives. Together with my husband, a librarian, I´m looking for a 2-bedroom apartment to rent, preferably with a direct bus connection to UAA or within walking distance. Ideally, the apartment has one or, better, two desks. Our budget for renting an apartment is $2000 per month including utlities (wi-fi, heat, electric, etc.). We are a German couple who has been living in Norway for the last couple of years. Now, we are looking forward to our stay in Anchorage. We don´t smoke. No kids. No pets.
