Graduate School Fair

Are you interested in going to graduate school? Join us for the Graduate School Fair Friday, March 24, from 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. in the Rasmuson Hall atrium. Visit with faculty from over 20 graduate degrees and certificate programs to learn why graduate school is for you. Financial aid, admissions, library, McNair and research will be on hand to answer your questions. See you there!

Spooky Spring: Scary Movie at MSS during spring break!

Need spring break plans? We got you! Watch a scary movie in MSS, Wednesday, March 15, 1-4 p.m. in Rasmuson Hall, Room 106, in our cozy space! The movie "Us" is Rated-R and written and directed by Jordan Peele. We'll be in onesies and PJs — wear yours if you'd like! MSS will provide food and popcorn.

Write a Successful Graduate School Application

Join the UAA Graduate School Thursday, March 9, from 12-1 p.m. in the Lyla Richards Conference Room for a professional development workshop to learn what is commonly expected of a graduate school application and ways to strengthen it for a successful outcome.

UAA Seawolf Summer Bridge 2023 (SSB23) Information Session(s)

Join the Office of Student Affairs, Department of Residence Life, Enrollment Services and more to discuss the re-invented Seawolf Summer Bridge Program for Summer 2023. SSB23 provides incoming freshmen the opportunity to live on campus for a 5-week period during the summer to experience that "real college experience" prior to their Fall enrollment(s).

Undergrad Summer Internship $7,000

Gain hands on experience doing research important to Alaska. This internship is for Summer 2023 and students will test scientific hypotheses using data acquired from drones and processed with machine learning.

Alaska HOSA In Need of Judges

The Alaska HOSA program is recruiting judges for their annual statewide competition which is back in-person this year. There are 308 competitors and are in need of 35 judges. This is a great way to give back and support Alaska's future healthcare workforce.
