Off the Chain is Anchorage's volunteer-run bike collective. The group started as the UAA Bike Club more than 15 years ago and is now a community hub offering bike tools, parts, advice and education. Stop by student night to work on your bike, fix up a donated bike and learn how to volunteer.

The Ted Stevens Foundation has gifted a selection of the late Congressman Ted Stevens’ papers to the archives at the UAA/APU Consortium Library at the University of Alaska Anchorage. The selection includes memos, maps, photographs, and more from the Stevens Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act collection.

It is with sadness we recognize the passing of Carolyn Floyd, the first president of Kodiak College. Carolyn was a visionary leader for higher education and was instrumental in creating Kodiak Community College.
