Bartlett Lecture Series — Call for Recommendations

The Bartlett Lecture Series Committee is requesting recommendations for a speaker for the 2022 lecture. Please recommend a lecturer whose work involves the promotion of individual freedom and the public good. The deadline for recommendations is March 5 at 5 p.m. The Bartlett Lecture Series Committee will review recommendations on March 12 and select a candidate from the suggested lecturers.

Artificial intelligence in the financial world: CBPP AI webinar series #2

Every year on Feb. 16, we celebrate the life and legacy Alaska Native civil rights activist Elizabeth Peratrovich. The day commemorates the anniversary of Peratrovich's testimony that led to the passage of the groundbreaking Anti-Discrimination Act of 1945. Community celebrations include an Alaska Native Studies Symposia at UAA and a celebration on Facebook Live hosted by First Alaskans Institute.

University of Alaska Board of Regents to hear public testimony Feb. 16
