Reminder: Title IX training required by Nov. 2, 2018

Dear UAA Student,

Spring 2019 priority registration begins on Friday, Nov. 9. The University's records indicate that you have not yet taken annual Title IX training as required by the University of Alaska. Please note that in order to access Spring semester 2019 priority registration between Nov. 9 and Nov. 25, please plan to complete the training by Friday, Nov. 2. As an added incentive, if you complete the training you will be eligible for a random drawing to win a $1,000 tuition discount, "super" priority registration, or a grand prize round-trip Alaska Airlines ticket from Anchorage (restrictions apply). There were eight winners last week: four of you won $1,000 discounts, and four won "super" priority head-of-the-line registrations! Take the training to ensure you're in the running to win airline tickets!

The training is available through UAOnline (see instructions below). If you are new to campus or have never completed this training, you must complete the full version of the training (Part I). If you are a returning student that took the full training last year (previously referred to as "Haven" or "Haven Plus"), you only need to take the shorter refresher course.

If you have concerns about the training, or are uncomfortable with the content, you may formally opt out of taking the training. Please use this UAA Title IX Training Release Request form to make an opt-out request. You may also contact either the Office of Equity and Compliance or the Dean of Students Office with your questions or concerns.

2. Select "Student Services & Account Information"
3. Select "Student Training"
4. From the menu, select the training that applies to you
