Provost search finalists scheduled for virtual campus visits

As the co-chairs of the provost search committee, we are pleased to share a positive update regarding this important search for the next provost and vice chancellor for Academic Affairs at UAA. After limiting a robust initial pool of candidates to a smaller set of semifinalists, each of whom the search committee interviewed, we are now moving forward to schedule virtual campus visits for four highly qualified finalists.

Due to COVID-19, UAA is unable to hold our traditional Commencement Ceremony this Spring. We are still hopeful that students may be able to participate in a future in-person ceremony, but unfortunately we’re not sure what that will look like at this time. Students still want an opportunity to celebrate and we want to celebrate their accomplishments with them. As part of these efforts, we will launch a new website on May 3 at 1 p.m. — A Tribute to Our Grads: UAA Spring 2020 Graduation Day Celebration.

COVID-19 Duty to Report Notification to Residents

In an effort to keep our community safe, residents are required to notify On-Campus Living if they: 1) test positive for COVID-19; 2) were exposed to an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19; or 3) have a fever in excess of 100 degrees.

Document Delivery is a service that allows you to order items held in the library's print collection including book chapters and journal and newspaper articles. And if we don't have it, you can try Interlibrary Loan and borrow materials from libraries around the world.
