Get ready, Seawolves! Homecoming 2021 is on its way. Oct.4–9 UAA will have Harvest Fest-themed programs both in-person and virtual to celebrate UAA. We will have competitions, creative spaces, opportunities to give back and special highlights for UAA Athletics! Alaska Space Grant awarded to engineering alumnus to study Arctic corrosion

Tyler Cushman’s graduate research will study a process known as atmospheric corrosion in cold climates through a collaboration with NASA and is expected to have wider benefits for Alaska’s infrastructure.

Sept. 17: UAA Annual Accreditation/Assessment Seminar: Preparing for the Mid-Cycle Visit

This year’s annual seminar will focus on preparing for the Oct. 7-8 NWCCU Mid-Cycle Evaluation site visit. Chancellor Parnell and Provost Runge will kick off the session with a welcome and, along with the accreditation tri-chairs and the Accreditation Advisory Committee, will guide us through reflections about UAA’s Mid-Cycle Evaluation.
