Students in the Alaska Native Science & Engineering Program recently visited with the legendary Apollo 13 Commander Capt. James Lovell, who visited Anchorage last week for the annual ANSEP Celebration and Extravaganza at the Dena'ina Center.

The Tuskegee Airmen shattered ugly myths about African Americans by demonstrating courage and expertise in combat during World War II. One of those Airmen, Lt. Col. Leo Gray, spoke at the recent kickoff event for Black History Month 2014.
