The Office of the Registrar invites you to a registration brown bag session. If you are having to answer student questions about registration, you may find this session very helpful. We will discuss registration eligibility, priority registration, dates, and deadlines, overrides, waitlists, troubleshooting and useful Banner screens.

Implicit bias training workshop offered

Alaska EPSCoR, Alaska INBRE and the UAF Dept of Equity and Compliance are collaborating to offer a three-part implicit bias workshop this month. Part 1 is a virtual viewing of the film "Picture a Scientist" at a time that fits your schedule March 25-27. Part 2 is a panel discussion on March 28, 11 a.m.

UAA will hold 'Reunion Commencement' for pandemic grads

In advance of spring commencement, the University of Alaska Anchorage will hold a special ceremony at the Alaska Airlines Center for students whose commencement ceremonies were held virtually in 2020 and 2021.

Announcing new Chief Human Resources Officer Memry Dahl

I’m pleased to announce that UAA alumna Memry Dahl will serve as the system’s new Chief Human Resources Officer. She will begin on April 13, will be based in Anchorage, and is committed to spending adequate time in Fairbanks and Juneau.
