Portland, Oregon (March 3) – UAA women’s basketball standouts Mahaila Harrison and Elaina Mack were honored Tuesday as the Great Northwest Athletic Conference handed out its postseason awards, with Harrison earning First Team All-GNAC recognition.
Indianapolis (Mar. 4) – The UAA men’s basketball team remains in position for an NCAA Tournament berth as it heads into this week’s Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championships, staying at No. 5 in the NCAA Div. II West Regional rankings released Wednesday.

Indianapolis – The NCAA announced that seven skiers from the University of Alaska Anchorage have qualified for the 2026 NCAA Skiing National Championships in Park City, Utah March 11-14.

Soldier Hollow, Utah – Erling Bjornstad of the University of Alaska Anchorage won the 7.5-classic race at the RMISA Championships. He is the first Seawolf to win an RMISA Championship since Sean Alexander won the giant slalom in 2016 and the first Nordic champion since Lukas Ebner won the classic race in 2011.

Anchorage (Feb. 23) – After 22 years at the helm and more than 375 victories, UAA men’s basketball coach Rusty Osborne announced Monday that he will retire from coaching at the conclusion of the 2025-26 season.
