The UAA School of Engineering will host kids, K-12 from across the city at their annual engineering summer camps from May to August. The week long camps are provided free of charge from BP Alaska's sponsorship and provide kids with hands-on activities in robotics, alternative energy technology and structural engineering. Each camp is taught by a UAA engineering professor and encourages kids to push the envelope in each field

using their imaginations and skills developed in the camp and culminates with a showcase of their designs at the end of

camp. The camps have become extremely popular, from across the city, pulling kids from elementary school to high school and this year's camps had the most registrations ever.

Although, all the camps are filled at this point, kids still interested in attending are encouraged to register at http://www.uaasummercam

ps.com/, and will be waitlisted in case of cancellations. Check out photos from last year's camps and learn more about the UAA School of Engineering summer camps here!!
