'Alaska Native Corporations and Their Shareholders,' Aug. 5

by Michelle Saport  |

Monday, Aug. 5, 4-6 p.m. UAA Campus Bookstore

Aaron Leggett, Paul Ongtooguk, Edgar Blatchford and Carl Wassilie discuss Alaska Native corporations and their shareholders. The discussion will primarily focus on Alaska Natives who feel disenfranchised and cheated because they do not have a formal relationship with any Native corporation due to the time of their birth and inheritance rules.

All bookstore events are free and open to the public. There is also free parking for the events in the South Lot, West Campus Central Lot (behind Rasmuson Hall), Sports Center West Lot (between Seawolf drive and the Wells Fargo Sports Complex) and the Sports Center Northwest Lot (east of Seawolf Drive, across from West Campus Central Lot). A map of the parking options is available here.

For more information, contact Rachel Epstein at (907) 786-4782 or visit the bookstore website.
