Notice: Changes to UA procurement dollar thresholds

Effective immediately, due to a change in state legislation, all procurement dollar thresholds for UAA expenditures have been increased as follows:

• The level under which competition is not required is raised from $5,000 to $10,000.
• The level under which competition is not required for professional services is raised from $50,000 to $100,000.
• The level under which competition is not required for hotel, conference, convention or catering services is raised from $50,000 to $100,000.
• The level over which formal competition (IFB's/RFP's) is required for goods and services is raised from $50,000 to $100,000.

Please note that the per transaction limit for ProCards, Limited Purchase Orders and Blanket Purchase Orders remains at $5,000 to remain consistent with UA policy on controlled property.
