Are you a medical or allied health care provider? Do you know that you can play a significant role in reducing fetal alcohol spectrum disorders in Alaska? The Arctic FASD Regional Training Center at UAA is available to help health care providers in Alaska learn more about how they can help prevent FASDs, and to work with individuals and families who are affected.

Each year on Sept. 9, communities all over the world gather together to raise awareness about how many lives are affected by fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. Remember, there is no safe time, no safe amount and no safe type of alcohol to consume during pregnancy-"none for nine" is the healthy choice!
