Annual campus evacuation drills scheduled for Sept. 9-13, 2013

UAA's Anchorage campus will conduct evacuation drills the week of Sept. 9-13. Drills will be conducted during daytime and evening hours to test the bells, horns and strobes, and familiarize occupants with the process for evacuating buildings and reporting to the Emergency Assembly Areas (EAAs). Assistants in safety vests will be on hand to direct occupants to EAAs, and will distribute educational materials as part of the drills. Facilities should not be re-entered until the horns are silenced.
