Learn to preserve the last of fall's harvest with food preservation classes offered by UAF's Cooperative Extension Service (CES). Classes meet Wednesdays, 5:30-9:30 p.m. at Viking Hall (8141 Briarwood St., Anchorage, AK 99518) on the following dates:
Sept. 18: Making Jam and Jelly, $25 (CANCELLED)
Sept. 25: Canning Fish and Meat, $30
Oct. 9: Pickling, Sauerkraut, Chutneys and Pickled Vegetables, $25
Oct. 16: Drying Fruits and Vegetables, $25
CANCELLED: Nov. 6: Making Sausage and Jerky, $30
