Remember, campus closes for the holiday break Dec. 24 and re-opens Jan. 6

The University of Alaska Anchorage will be closed for the holiday break beginning at noon on Dec. 24, 2013, and will resume normal business hours Monday, Jan. 6, 2014. During this time, most buildings will be locked and-except in the case of emergencies-UPD will not be letting people into buildings.

The Wells Fargo Sports Complex will, however, be open and available for use for part of winter break. The full holiday schedule is available here.

If you haven't already done so, please remember to relocate fleet vehicles before leaving to facilitate snow removal and allow a central location for UPD to concentrate safety patrols. Students can park in Cottonwood Lot long-term over winter break. Parking enforcement resumes the first day of classes, Jan. 13, 2014.

Staff and faculty are strongly encouraged to submit and approve timesheets in advance of the campus closure. Details on what earnings code to use for timesheets covering the winter break period are available here.
