The UAA Integrated Suicide Prevention Initiative (UAA-ISPI) offers suicide prevention training for students to help them recognize suicide risk and feel confident intervening with someone who may be suicidal. The training focuses on the warning signs of suicide, how to effectively interact with someone who may be at risk for suicide and what campus and community resources are available. There are no prerequisites and everyone is welcome. Sessions will be held:

  • Monday, Feb. 17, 4-5:30 p.m., in Social Sciences Building, Room 119
  • Wednesday, March 19, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., in Eugene Short Hall, Room 202
  • Thursday, April 10, 12-1:30 p.m., in Rasmuson Hall, Room 315
