Time-lapse video depicts painting of Alaska Airlines' new Seawolf plane

Watch Seawolf spirit come to life in a new time-lapse video. Alaska Airlines' has released videos showing the painting of their newest university-themed aircraft, celebrating UAA and UAF. Fifty painters from Associated Painters in Spokane, Wash., worked on each plane, taking six days, using 15,360 linear feet of masking tape and channeling some serious university pride.

The aircraft will begin flying primarily between Anchorage and Fairbanks and Anchorage and Kodiak when Alaska Airlines' sister carrier, Horizon Air, introduces the Bombardier Q400 to the state of Alaska on March 3. Until then, you can get a behind-the-scenes look at the new planes here.
