Thursday, March 27, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Student Union, South Cafeteria

This week is the 25th anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill. Mark the event by attending a free movie screening of "Pretty Slick: A documentary feature on the year of the BP oil spill." Come consider the lessons we've learned and the lessons we've lost over the past 25 years. Scientist Riki Ott, Ph.D., will lead a discussion after the movie.

Sponsors for the event include the UAA Sustainability Club, Alaska Community Action on Toxics, Alaska Inter-Tribal Council, Cook Inletkeeper, Greenpeace, Pacific Environment, Sierra Club and World Wildlife Fund.
