UAA Says 'No More,' March 19

Wednesday, March 19, 6:30-8:30 p.m. UAA/APU Consortium Library, Room 307

Experts will discuss the community response to domestic violence and sexual assault. Presenters will address topics ranging from a statistical perspective to resources available to victims of domestic violence. The event will conclude with an informal Q-and-A session. Join us for an informative discussion on a topic affecting the entire community. Light refreshments will be provided.

  • Randi Breager, Alaska State Troopers program coordinator
  • Shannon Eddy, Alaska Network on Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault (ANDVSA) Legal Project staff attorney
  • Angelia Trujillo, Ph.D., forensic nurse examiner and UAA School of Nursing faculty

The event is part of the "NO MORE" national campaign <nomore.org> to increase awareness and action to end domestic violence and sexual assault. This event is hosted by Alpha Phi Sigma and the Justice Center, as part of National Criminal Justice Month and as a precursor to National Sexual Assault Awareness Month.
