Ready to take your involvement to the next level? Want to learn the skills to lead a campaign in your community or UAA? This summer, join the UAA Sustainability Club at Alaska Center for the Environment (ACE)'s Organizer Academy. It combines skills workshops with on-the-ground action opportunities to practice your new skills.
The academy will run for six weeks (June 26-Aug. 7), with sessions one night per week and extra volunteer work throughout. Training will cover topics such as: recruiting volunteers, tabling, canvassing (phone and door), communicating with people who disagree, event planning and more.
