Saturday, Sept. 6, 7:30 p.m.-midnight ConocoPhilips Integrated Science Building

The UAA Planetarium & Visualization Theater is teaming up with the Anchorage Municipal Library for this free event. Bring your families and come join us for International Observe the Moon Night.

We will have stations set up at 7:30 p.m. with activities such as creating craters in the Lunar Impact Box and the always delicious Oreo Cookie Moon Phases.  Starting at 8 p.m., we will be showing free planetariums shows every half an hour including "Back to the Moon for Good" and "Two Small Pieces of Glass." At 9:30 p.m., we will have our telescopes out and ready for some moon gazing (weather permitting).
