by Michelle Saport  |

The inaugural Alaska Food Festival and Conference, Nov. 7-9 at UAA's Lucy Cuddy Hall, is for everyone interested in food in Alaska. This will be an exciting event featuring presentations, group discussions and fun workshops centered around a wide variety of Alaska's food topics. Of course, there will also be lots of food that was grown, harvested, caught and made in Alaska.

We are encouraging the submission of poster presentations on the broad topics of food and food security in Alaska. To submit a poster presentation application, please email Virginia Hassel at engage@uaa.alaska.edu by 5 p.m. Oct. 31. Poster presentations will be on display all day, Nov. 7-8.
