UAA Faculty Research & Creative Activity Showcase
Join UAA faculty for the second annual UAA Faculty Research & Creative Activity Showcase! This exciting event (sponsored by Helena Wisniewski, Ph.D., vice provost of research and graduate studies, and the Faculty Senate Committee on Research and Creative Activity) showcases the UAAmazing work of our faculty. Learn how UAA faculty spend their time outside of the classroom: from discovering innovative ways to keep sidewalks snow-free to arranging classical works of music and more.
Throughout the week of the showcase, March 30-April 3, posters of faculty research, innovation and creative activity will be on display in the UAA Student Union. The week will end with a grand finale in the ConocoPhillips Integrated Science Building on Friday, April 3, with faculty presentations, creative performances, a prize drawing and a community panel. The panel, moderated by Wisniewski, will discuss "the role of the university in the community." The day will wrap up with a free show at the highly acclaimed UAA Planetarium and Visualization Theater.
