Celebrate Kick Butts Day with free ice cream sundaes, March 18

On Kick Butts Day, March 18, UAA will kick off its countdown celebration to a smoke/tobacco-free campus implementation. Join us for free ice cream sundaes in the Student Union and Social Sciences Building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
In December 2014, the University of Alaska Board of Regents mandated all UA campuses go smoke/tobacco-free by December 2015. UAA's implementation date will be officially announced during this event.
Kick Butts Day is a national day of activism for young people to fight against tobacco. More than 1,000 events will be held at schools and college campuses around the country.
