Seawolf Debate to host 2015 US Universities Debating Championship April 11–13

For the first time, UAA will host the US Universities Debating Championship in Anchorage. The event is expected to bring about 550 students and judges to Anchorage from 60 colleges and universities across the U.S. and Canada.

Eight preliminary rounds will take place in classrooms across campus on Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, with the final championship round taking place on Monday, April 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Wendy Williamson Auditorium. The championship round is open to the public-tickets are on sale now via UAAtix.com. Seats are limited.
