UAA Spring Food Summit: 'Shouldn't we be able to eat what we value?' April 7

by Michelle Saport  |

Tuesday, April 7, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Student Union, Cafeteria

Join the UAA Sustainability Club for a short video and panel discussion on the state of the UAA and Alaska food systems. Free Moose's Tooth pizza will be provided.

We believe that UAA should model the sustainable life in order to keep the world we live in healthy and whole. We will be bringing together students, faculty and community members to start the discussion of how best to integrate more local, sustainable and healthy foods at UAA. One of the main goals of this forum is to alert UAA decision makers on the importance of making sustainable and eco-friendly practices a part of everyday life of campus citizens.

Sponsored by the UAA Sustainability Club, Alaska Food Policy Council and Moose's Tooth.
