What is philanthropy? Who is responsible for creating the community that we want to live in, and what part do foundations play? A new civic engagement and philanthropy class invites you to a panel and discussion of "The Role of Foundations in Philanthropy & Placemaking in Community" featuring: Megan Riebe, UA Foundation; Ira Perman, Atwood Foundation; Aleesha Towns-Bain, Rasmuson Foundation; and Beth Rose, Alaska Community Foundation.

This event is free and open to the public. Free parking for this event is available in South Lot and Sports Complex NW Lot.
