May 2016: Anchorage to host 11th International Green Energy Conference

The 11th International Green Energy Conference (IGEC-XI) will be hosted in Anchorage next year in May. Steve Wang, Ph.D., faculty in UAA's Engineering, Science & Project Management Department, is the conference chair.
This conference will be a good opportunity for tenure-seeking faculty members since quality papers submitted to this conference will be recommended for publication in top energy journals. The conference topics are not limited to just energy. The topics also include environment, sustainability, green building and issues in Arctic areas. Details are available on the IGEC-XI website.
The recent visit of President Obama to Alaska and elevated interest in the Arctic make this conference a very timely event. Please submit an abstract by Nov. 30 if you are interested.
