The 2015 Relate North symposium and exhibition is a collaboration between the University of the Arctic, ASAD thematic network, the University of Alaska Anchorage, the University of Lapland and the Kimura Gallery.

In summary, the network seeks to promote cooperation and collaboration between academic institutions and communities, advance art education among members and share both traditional and contemporary practices in teaching, learning and research.
