UAA Professor Paul Dunscomb presents at Belmont University Asian Studies Symposium

UAA Department of History Chair Paul Dunscomb gave two presentations at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., as part of its annual Asian Studies Symposium. On Thursday, Oct. 15, he presented "And Cute Shall Be Our Doom! Cultural Perspectives on Japan's Pursuit of Human Form Robots;" and on Friday, Oct. 16 he presented on "The Crisis in Japanese Professional Baseball of 2004 and the Nature of Change in Heisei Japan," which is the heart of his latest research project.
