Blackboard upgrade scheduled for 2015 Winter Break

Over the UAA winter break, Blackboard will be unavailable Dec. 24, 2015-Jan. 1, 2016.

Blackboard will be unavailable in order for technicians to perform much needed systems maintenance and equipment upgrades.

Blackboard will be available again Jan. 2, 2016 .

Please plan your course preparation activities well in advance to account for this system downtime.

As we move forward, Academic Innovations & eLearning and IT Services staff are creating a new, clean version of Blackboard in order to have a more stable, functional and responsive system.

Spring course shells: Faculty will build their spring 2016 course in the new, upgraded Blackboard environment starting Nov. 9, 2015.
