December 2015: 'Tis the season of savings at the UAA bookstores

Donations for discounts Dec. 1-23, during regular operating hours UAA Campus Bookstore and University Center Bookstore

'Tis the season of giving! The bookstores are sponsoring a canned food drive during the month of December. Bring in your non-expired, canned goods (10 oz. or larger, please) and get a 10 percent discount for each one you bring in. Bring in as many cans as you like, but note the maximum discount is 40 percent. Discounts are good on clothing, insignia, general books and calendars, supplies, gifts and more!

Donated items will go to the Food Bank of Alaska.

Customer Appreciation Day at the Bookstore Thursday, Dec. 10, 8:30 a.m.-7 p.m. UAA Campus Bookstore and University Center Bookstore

It's our way of saying thank you to our customers. We'll be open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. From opening through 5 p.m., you can snag a scratch-off ticket to get discounts of 25-40 percent off. From 5-7 p.m., the discount moves up to 40 percent for everyone. We'll have photos with Santa, cider and cookies, prizes to give away and more!
