Preview two-day UAA course on Alaska's fiscal and economic challenges

In this talk, Cliff Groh, chair of Alaska Common Ground, will preview a course he is giving next month at UAA, called "Shaping the Future: Navigating Alaska's Fiscal and Economic Challenges." The course will be Friday evening, Feb. 26, and all day Saturday, Feb. 27. In this preview, he will highlight the history, politics and economics of Alaska's present predicament, and options for addressing it.

Alaska Common Ground is a nonprofit organization that helps Alaskans understand important public policy issues. That organization and ISER have in recent months been working together to help Alaskans better understand the state's fiscal crisis. Cliff Groh is the author or co-author of four chapters in books about the Permanent Fund Dividend and Alaska fiscal policy.

1901 Bragaw Street is on Bragaw between Northern Lights and Debarr. Parking is free.
