Feb. 5, 2016: Meet one of the candidates for ISER Faculty Economist

ISER has been recruiting for two new faculty economists, and several finalists for those positions will be visiting UAA in February. Meiping Sun will receive her Ph.D. in economics from Columbia University this spring. Her research has been mainly in the fields of applied microeconomics and public economics. She will talk at ISER this Friday, Feb. 5, discussing her findings on how restrictions on alcohol sales in some Texas jurisdictions affect the birth weight of babies born in those jurisdictions. Please join us to hear from a potential future ISER faculty member, and have the opportunity to ask her questions.
