The Pacific Rim Conference on English Studies is an annual event run by the graduate students in the UAA Department of English. It is free and open to the public. There are roundtables, panels and keynote speeches throughout the day. People come from all over the world to attend, and this year's theme is "Knowing One's Place: The Role of Place in Language."
