UAA Commencement headerDear graduates, We look forward to seeing you at UAA's Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 1. Here are a few important things to know:

Registration Graduates need to come to the Alaska Airlines Center on Sunday between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to pick up your reader cards and get organized for the ceremony. At 12:30 p.m., registration will close and volunteers will begin lining you up. You must be in line no later than 12:45 p.m. to begin the processional. Please read through the How to Participate section of the website for full details. The registration and staging area is reserved for graduates only.

A coat check is available behind the check-in tables courtesy of Tri Sigma Sorority. Feel free to leave personal items here. You cannot have coats, purses, bags, etc., with you during the ceremony unless they can be concealed under your gown. Phones are fine.

Student parking Please park in the Providence Hospital PS3 Parking Garage when you arrive for registration (map). DO NOT park in the Providence Hospital surface lot as this is reserved for hospital patrons and towing is strictly enforced.

Tickets Tickets are required for all guests attending the ceremony. For guests who arrive without a ticket, unfilled seats will be released at 12:50 p.m. prior to the start of the ceremony.

Beware of ticket scalpers. Anyone offering money for your commencement tickets, or trying to sell you additional tickets, is not authorized by UAA and tickets offered by such individuals do not guarantee entry to the ceremony. Sharing of tickets among graduates is encouraged.
