UAA Professor Emeritus Ted Eschenbach is the 2016 recipient of the National Engineering Economy Teaching Excellence Award.

Presented by American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) biennially, the award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated classroom teaching excellence and teaching scholarship in engineering economy. Awardees are honored for their commitment to their profession, desire to further ASEE's mission, and participation in civic and community affairs, exemplifying the best in engineering education. The award includes a $10,000 honorarium, an inscribed plaque and a stipend to assist the award recipient in travel costs to attend ASEE's annual conference.

Eschenbach will accept the award at the 123rd Annual ASEE Conference and Exposition at the New Orleans Convention Center, June 27 and 28.
